We are seeking a Training and Support Specialist who will design, develop, and deliver training content to support organizational initiatives and business units. This position will create in-person and online training materials, ensuring they meet instructional design standards and engage learners effectively. Key responsibilities include developing content, researching, and creating resources such as tips, job aids, and templates to enhance employee learning. The role requires strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills to facilitate and support virtual meetings and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop in-person and online learning training content, including curriculum development in partnership with subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Create diverse learning resources such as job aids, templates, tips, and microlearning materials.
- Administer SharePoint pages to ensure accurate and timely delivery of resources.
- Develop multimedia content, including instructional videos and interactive modules using Adobe Articulate (Storyline, Rise), Camtasia, and voiceover tools.
- Facilitate live virtual meetings and events on MS Teams, supporting organizational learning initiatives.
- Conduct thorough research to enhance content relevance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Associate Director of Organizational Development, Training and Support Specialists, Learning and Development Consultant, Organizational Development Consultant, and Administrative Support Specialist.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in curriculum design and developing training materials for adult learners
- 3+ years of strong content development skills
- 5+ years of instructional design and technical knowledge
- 3+ years knowledge of the NC Medicaid Program and understanding of the county, regional, and state staff roles
- 3+ years of Proficiency with Adobe Articulate 360
- 3+ years of experience with adult learning practices, principles, and procedures for classroom and online presentations
- 3+ years of experience supporting live virtual meetings and events; strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills
- 3+ years of experience with preferred tools: Adobe Articulate, Camtasia, MS Teams, Microsoft products, Webex
Compensation: $67,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
